Chef Mike- I remember many good times with you. Playing hockey and working at Kings Contrivance. I also remember bumping into you at CIA while I was working in CT and looking to update my culinary library! Rest in Peace, may you have no lumps in your veloute.

Chef Gary Brown

I was a member of Mike's class at CIA in 1989. He was always passionate about food and interested in the people around him.
Over the years he touched a tremendous number of people through his teaching, something not many have a talent for.

His family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To Michael's family our prayers are with you! I was Michael'f first Executive Chef at Clyde's he was a high school student with a passion for food and was an awesome line cook. I encouraged him to go to CIA from which he graduated in 1989. He was a great educator and friend. To my friend and colleague - Rest in Peace!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I worked with Mike at Piccolo's
many years ago. I have so many fond memories of him. One that stands out the most was when I had him interviewed by the TV crew and he was so shy and nervous. Not long after that he was on TV every Sunday morning. I would kid with him and say I created a monster... He loved it. He was always so good at his job. He will be missed by many. I haven't seen Mike for many years since I moved to Florida but would...
