Michael Bruce WAKEFIELD

I was very sorry to recently hear about Mike's passing. I was at a class reunion for '67 White Bear High School and we were talking about Mike and Rick, his brother. I was a neighborhood friend and fellow golf caddy when Mike and I were young. We played lot of golf together, road bicycles and hung out a lot. I will miss him greatly.

So sorry to hear of Michaels death- warm thoughts and prayers to all of you

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's premature death! My heart goes out to his family. I have fond memories of ski jumping with Mike and running into him when he was manager of the U of M book store. The last time I saw him, we ran into each other at a hotel in Medora, ND, where he has participating in a golf tournament. That was a treat.

I'm fortunate to have been able to call Mike a friend for over 28 years. I met Mike at my first Tri-State Bookstore meeting. Mike was at our home many times; chased my kids around the yard, and relaxed. My husband Clark had also ski jumped as a teen, so they shared that interest along with our love of the game of golf. He was so important to all of us in the region! He is a one of kind special man. God Bless you all.
