I became friends with Mike at the Tualatin Valley Elks Club, where we were regulars.
Time spent with Mike was always time well spent. He always had an opinion on the issues of the day.
And, I enjoyed talking fishing and Ducks football with him.
The world is certainly less interesting without him in it. And, I will miss him in mine.

I was so sad to hear of Mike's passing.
My father (Ray Thompson) and Mike were good friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I Got to know you through Business and built a good friendship on the River. Thanks for all of it! I know you'll keep it lively where ever you may be! We Will always remember you with the best thoughts.

I have done business with him since 1968, starting in Idaho, then we both got job relocations to Oregon. Been doing business with him since our relocations to Oregon, both in Oregon and Washington. Longer than most marriages. He is a great asset to my business, and of course me being a car collector, we always kicked the tires about our classic checked, also.
He will be missed, but moving on to a very peaceful new location.

I always loved Mike's smile. It was one of his best features. I'm glad we were able to go to high school together and see each other several times since. He will be missed.

My favorite memory of Mike is his measuring technique. He would drive up to the job, roll down his window, stick his thumb out straight up and down and then sideways and say "that's about 27 squares"! We laughed about that for years. I would just call him up and I had a house ready and its about 27 squares! Safe journey my friend!
