Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services - Kellyville Obituary

Michael Wayne Webb 70, of Kellyville, Oklahoma, left this world on March 30, 2024, while on a motorcycle ride with the Tulsa H.O.G. Chapter.

Michael was born June 17, 1953, in San Deigo, California to Harold and Mryna (Bulter) Webb. Mike was a preemie at under three pounds. His mom called him her shoe box baby. When he was strong enough, they moved to Kansas, where both mom and dad were from. They moved a lot while the boys were growing up, settling in Cañon City Colorado, where Mike graduated from high school.

Following high school, Mike joined the Army earning the rank of (RT) SSG E6. He served 20 years. While in the Army he worked on, flew, and crashed helicopters, not necessarily in that order. (He loved saying this.) Mike also taught helicopter repair and maintenance in the year or so before his retirement.

While stationed in Washington, Mike had a son, Chris.  Mike later met and married Ann and they had two daughters, Janet, and Theresa.

After retiring from the Army, Mike went overseas to teach helicopter repair and maintenance. Returning to the States, he was grandfathered in with a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), where he begins his truck driving years.

On January 27, 1999, Mike accepted the Lord as his savior.

While driving for Arrow Trucking, he met and married Edith, they celebrated 23 years of marriage in March 2024.

For the past five years Mike has driven a school bus for Sapulpa Public Schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading his own bullets, and riding his motorcycle.

Mike never met a stranger, and you could always hear him before you saw him.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, and his mother-in-law Kate Ralston.

He is survived by his wife Edith; children Chris Donahue of Jacksonville, Florida, Janet Hickman and husband Lewis of Roanoke, VA. Theresa Piosek and Damian of Sanford, NC., Clinton Warnock and April of Kellyville, William Warnock and Wendi, of Bristow and AJ Jackson of Kellyville; grandchildren Gideon, Nathan, Benjamin, Amerleena, Patrick, Breanna, Olympia, Hunter, Noah, Brandon, Dashia, Gabby, Chet, Kamber and Cory; mother Mryna of Cayon City, CO; brothers Steve Webb and Larry Webb and wife, Marolynne of Cayon City and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be 10:00 am., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Traditions Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service please join family and friends at the Webb home (525 E. Allen St., Kellyville) for burgers and hotdogs, we will be firing up Mike’s grill!

Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services 35 S Main in Kellyville, Ok., 918-247-7373.

Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

He really was a nice person, I really enjoyed listening to his stories about his life and I'm going to miss Him at work, He reminded me of my Father because like my Dad, He served our Country and was also a Truck Driver in his lifetime.

Deepest Heartfelt Condolences!

I met Mike for the first time on Saturday. His vibrant personality made us instant friends. We had a one on one short conversation at the dealership and we had a lengthy conversation at our Muskogee stop. Mike was very proud of the work he had done on his quad-trike when I asked about it and was literally gleaming as he described the setup he had done. I will truly miss a great fellow and a friendship that surely would have blossomed.

Times I remember, he always had a big smile on his face and seems like we all met eating with friends, yes he was a people’s person loved talking and visiting, two weeks ago we were all at J’s cafe ha eating and his big smile him and his wife Edith,

Michael was a man that had the utmost respect for everyone he encountered. He was always the loudest at our chapter breakfast and the first to come up and welcome tou to whatever event we were doing. He always spoke of his kids on the bus and really would light up talking about them. He made me feel like the most important person around when we spoke. He will be missed

Micheal was a great guy. He had so many interesting stories. He was fun to listen to. This is how my step-dad was and that made me happy to meet another that was like him. Michael will be greatly missed.
