Michael Joseph Weinle unexpectedly passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at his home in San Francisco, California at the age of 28. Born in Holyoke on February 18, 1986, he was raised in Feeding Hills, MA. Michael was the son of John N. Weinle III and Phyllis A. Weinle. He was a graduate of Agawam High School Class of 2004. Michael attended the Wentworth Institute of College in Boston, MA where he studied as an undergraduate in Architectural Drafting and Design program. In 2012, he moved to San Francisco, CA where he worked as an Architectural Drafter. Michael had a zest for life and a deep love for animals and nature. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his parents, John N. Weinle III and Phyllis (Gusek) Weinle of Feeding Hills, a brother, John N. Weinle IV of Windsor, CT, two sisters, Nicole Ann Banspach of Windsor, CT, Melissa Ann Weinle of Springfield, his Godfather and uncle, Dr. James J. Dowd of Westfield, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many loved friends. Michaels funeral will be held 10:30am Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Saint Thomas Church 47 Pine Street, West Springfield followed by the burial at Saint Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, from 4-7pm December 22, 2014 at the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the San Francisco SPCA or the San Francisco Food Bank.
