Not sure what to say?

Just found out about Michael's Passing. My mother and Michael were first cousins on their paternal sides. I spent some time with Cousin Michael at his home in Littleton Colorado. My mother was very close to Michael, Charlotte and Their Mother Bella. I got to know Bella well as she spent many weeks in the Bahamas with my mother. To his wife and son my condolences go out to both of you, may his memory be a blessing. David Zuker- Cousin from Australia

I only now learned that Dr. Weissberg has passed. He was always a provocative and generous teacher.

Mike and his family lived in the building next to the one I grew up in and I was often at his apartment. His mother used to make beautiful leather gloves and his father was always very nice. I am sorry to hear that he has passed away.

From rival high schools in New York City, to classmates at NYU, we followed the same path to Boulder just a couple of years apart. We were close friends for many years until careers and raising our families sent us in different directions. Whenever we did get together, however, I always felt that special warmth and interest in others that was such a hallmark of Michael, and made him an easy person to be with and a hard one to forget. With love to his memory and family, Jim

So glad to have had the opportunity to work with Mike both within the School of Medicine undergraduate education and to share a few patients. I always looked forward to seeing him and learning from him. His bright eyes and clever comments/questions brought delight and needed pauses for introspection to our work. Grateful to learn more about his legacy and interests in this obituary, and sending my condolences.

Michael was one of the most influencial attending physicians and mentors I had while a resident at CU. During my training, though, we talked to "Mrs. McGillicuddy." I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his family; you are in my thoughts.

Mike was a wonderful colleague for the almost fifty years we served together on the faculty at the CU School of Medicine. We worked together on the AHEC program in the 1970's, at the Kempe Center when I was there as Director in the 1980's, and for the 25 years I was Dean, he was just a terrific supporter of the School, our mission to educate medical students, the Given Institute in Aspen, and to me as well. I will always remember his popping his head into my office when the occasional...
