Not sure what to say?

Mr. Wendt was one of the most influential people for me. He was a great teacher and helped me on my first book when I was still in high school. I dedicated it to him! I still remember him coming to my book signing party. I can´t believe he´s gone, just found out.

Mr Wendt was my teacher at Jesuit and I will always remember what a kind hearted person he was (and all those Greek and Latin roots he had us learn!). His love for his work and passion for helping his students was apparent every day. I picture him in Heaven surrounding by Moby Dick and his other favorite books. I am grateful I knew him and wish his family peace.

Mr. Wendt was the best teacher - truly believed in his students. Such a kind and gentle soul. I was his TA while at Lakeridge High School - when I graduated, he gave me a bear puppet with the note, "Since I can´t bear to see you go, I send the bear with you." His impact on me was immense - I was a teacher for 32 years and his words rang in my ears as I taught. Heaven just got a lot brighter! Rest in peace, Mr. Wendt. Xoxo PS. I still have the bear!

Mr. Wendt was one of my teachers at Woodburn High School (1965/66). He was kind and patient......and made learning fun and engaging. He was such a good person in addition to being an amazing teacher. The world will shine a bit less bright without him.

I send my condolences to Judy and family at this time of loss. The Wendt's have been friends for over 45 years. Michael served as our leader of the "Honoring Our Memories" Writing Group at the West Linn Adult Community Center. His spirit lives on in our hearts!

An amazing teacher who gave so much to the Jesuit High Students he taught. Gratitude. Father Tony Harris, SJ

My deepest condolences to the family. One heck of a nice man and a superb teacher. One of my favorites. Very impactful. Prayers and may his memory be internal. - Majd El-Azma, LHS Class of 83
