Great Family friend. The Steele family will never forget his giving and kind manner. My heart will always be grateful for the memories and fun at Big star lake, so many laughs. We were all treated like family. Slan abhaile an Irish farewell from our family to Dear Mike.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Mike. I only met him a few times - both in Grand Rapids and in Connemara but he left a lasting impression on me. A kind-hearted gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Mike was a wonderful person in every way. I worked with him for many years and he was always kind and compassionate and consistently maintained an outstanding sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
