Michael was born on January 14, 1969 and passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Michael was a resident of La Grange, North Carolina at the time of passing. Mickey was a 1987 graduate of North Lenoir High School, attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC where he played football. Mickey transferred to East Carolina University, graduating in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Interment will be July 01, 2019 at 10:00 am at Pinelawn Memorial Park. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
Mary and Crews, I am so sorry for what has happened. Please know that I loved Mickey so much and just knowing his silly self isn't with us anymore breaks my heart. The most fun and memorable times in my life you were there. I have all those memories to keep with me till I see you again. I just wont have you to talk about them with. Even though they are true most people wont believe them but we lived it buddy and I would do it all the same again. The only thing that is getting me through this is knowing you are at peace.Love you like a brother.
