Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt condolences go out to Mike's family for your loss. I worked with Mike while he was the HMI supervisor at Beta drive, and while he was in CST. Our interaction was mostly on the phone, however Mike's enthusiasm always brightened my day. It was my priviledge to know and work with a person of such character.

Rod and Mary,

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sad to hear about Mr. Whelan. I cannot find any words to tell you all how sorry I am.
Angela Carlton-Patterson and family

Mike was my boss for many years, but he was also my Mentor. I grew to value his close friendship and I appreciate all he has done for me.

He has a beautiful family and I wish you all the best at this difficult time.

I will miss him dearly. He will not be forgotten.

Regards,

I was very saddened to hear about the loss of Mike. I worked closely with him for many years, in his HMI group, & he always had a wonderful balance of academic intelligence and emotional spirit. He guided me when I went astray, & shielded me from "the powers that be". I will sorely miss him. My deepest condolences.

Many years ago, a “scruffy” Mike Whelan met with me at Rockwell, and I liked his character & demeanor, and hired him. Mike became a solid member of our close-knit team, and was steady, honest and loyal. We shared many good memories and I considered Mike to be a good friend. Over the years, our paths diverged, and I left Rockwell a few years ago. I was saddened to hear the news of his passing, and wish to express my condolences to his family.

Mike touched many lives, including co-workers in Vancouver, Canada. We are very sad to hear of your loss and our thoughts are with you.

Mike was so very helpful to his co-workers in Rockwell's Vancouver Office. He was a pleasure to talk to and we enjoyed his company when we visited Cleveland. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

We received notification today about the death of Mike and we are so very sorry for your loss! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
