Dr. Wilcox, you will forever be a part of me. You were an amazing mentor, and I am so grateful for the time you spent with me in and out of the lab. I thank God for the few short years I was able to work and learn next to you. "Here's a toast..." my friend!

Mike, I would always find you working on Sunday afternoon in the lab. You were one of the most brilliant scientists I have ever met. I was blown away by your fly eye research and the patent you developed to shunt fluid in the eye to relieve pressure and help those with glaucoma. You just loved working with cadets and were a wonderful mentor dedicated to their learning. I will always remember your friendship and the world you opened up for me.

Mike was a brilliant and passionate scientist. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting. He will be greatly missed.

Mike, thank you for being a good friend and colleague. I am grateful that I was privileged to know you and work with you for several years. Your kindness and insights helped me a lot. You were one of the brightest and most enthusiastic people I have ever known. I hope you have a great lab in heaven and many colleagues with whom to share ideas. You will be greatly missed.
