Xander and I sent balloons to Michael on 12/10. We keep him close to our hearts, and we frequently reminisce about our times with him. In our house he is greatly missed.

Such a short period of time spent on this planet! You will be missed!

My condolences to the family and friends of Michael. He was a classmate at Mars Hill graduate school. I have fond memories of him coming over to my home and studying church history and visiting a Greek Orthodox church for our class project. He was a kind-hearted and courageous gentleman. Hai

To Michael's family- I recently learned of his death. I was his internship supervisor and then his manager at Sound Mental Health. I greatly enjoyed working with him and he was an incredible blessing to our team and the kids he worked with. His death comes as such a shock. He and I got together a couple of years ago to catch up and his love for kids and life was so refreshing. I was recently thinking about contacting him to get together and then someone told me he had passed away. ...

Michael was my therapist of 4 1/2 years. He helped me so much with my anxiety. I don't know how I am going to find another person as kind, loving, and understanding as Michael. His memory will live on through his family and everyone he touched. I know that the work we did together over 4 1/2 years will stay forever implanted in my brain and soul.

This candle is for Michael and all those that he inspired during his short life.

Linda, Michael and Heath, I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your son. He was such a wonderful person who was a good friend to all he met. I have a picture of him in one of the school musicals and remember my time working with Linda and going to aerobics class with her and singing in choir with him. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was a light that shined in this world. He was wise, compassionate, humble, and kind. He had a smile that was contagious and a quick wit even as an 8 year old. I know his passion for life and love will live on in all who knew him. It would be just like Michael to save the lives of many through organ donation. May love flood you and help you heal. Prayers to you all. Michael made a huge difference in lives and makes me smile to this day. Prayers...

Michael provided therapy for our son with autism. He had the unique gifts of patience, exceptional insight, humor, and professionalism. He was for us a very important and special person, and we are stricken by the loss of such a young and talented person. We miss him, and grieve for all those whose lives he touched.
