I remember Mike in his late teens and early 20’s and his love for Michigan Football! Football season for Mike was dreams come true, it was a time to celebrate the victories with family and friends and even go to the Rose Bowl. Mike enjoyed snowmobiling after the football season. Snowmobiling up north would bring the daring side of him out; he didn’t have any fear, even on the lake as the ice was cracking.

Mike's short life reminds me to see and understand the need for the
cost of heartache. Would love ever be so cherished if it were never
brought with pain? Though our lives are a precious gift from God the
love we share was purchased through the heartache of our Father as he
watched his Son die for...

My father taught me more about life than he could ever imagine, sometimes intentionally. I'll never forget his unique sense of humor or his ability to make me laugh under any circumstance. I believe that anyone that knew my dad has a story to tell. May those good times live in your hearts forever.

Mike wasn't just a cousin. He was sometimes a brat, more often a buddy, but always, always MY little brother! Through all of my tears and sadness, what remains are a lifetime worth of memories of him - a treasure to cherish always. To Vicki, Caitlin and Jeff -know and believe that he loved you all.
