BRIDGEWATER, Virginia
Michael Allen "Mickey" Wimer Michael Allen "Mickey" Wimer, 59, of Crimora, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Michael was born in Westfield, Indiana, on August 28, 1954, and was a son of the late Alice (Glazier) Wimer, and Harold C. Wimer and wife, Glenda of Ruckersville, Virginia. In addition to his father, Michael is survived by two sisters, Theresa Hewitt and Marlin of Deerfield, and Marcie Hemp and Mark of Waynesboro; three brothers, James Wimer and Debbie, Steven Wimer and Sharon, and David Wimer all of Crimora; step-sister, Diane Hall of Annapolis, Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Travis Hemp. The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurces at UVA for all their special care.
