Not sure what to say?

Professor Windham, Saw your name listed in the Utah State magazine and now have confirmed by finding your obituary. You were one of the very best teachers I ever had (linear algebra) and I never in my life worked so hard for a B+. I tried to look you up a few years back but didn't know you moved to Al. Thanks, I'm very lucky to have known you and had your influence.

my thoughts and prayers are with you

We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We enjoyed knowing and being with Mike as "youth" at Broadway Baptist Church. Mike was an important part of our family and a dear friend. I wish we would have known that he was in Austin and had an opportunity to remember those "youthful" years. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

I met Mike and Carol in 2005 . I am a realtor and Mike was preparing to sell their home, retire and move back to Texas. He needed help with Carol. His dedication and devotion to Carol was heartwarming. She would leave small "I Love You" messages for him in all sorts of places. I cannot express how in love they always appeared. I regret that he had to go through the past years with all the difficulties and health problems he faced. I will pray for both Carol and Mike.

In Christian concern and loving care, you were uplifted in prayer by The Mens Prayer Fellowship of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.

Michael and I went through Elem, Jr. High and Sr. High together. He was my friend and we use to spend Saturdays working on our stamp collections back in the old Henderson Elementary School days. He was a great guy and I am honored to have known him. God Bless his family and I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Dr. Windham taught me two semesters of real analysis. I don't even think he was paid for the second semester because there were only two students in it. He was a stand up individual and the world is diminished with his absence.

To the Sons of Michael Windham: Your Father and I were friends in high school. We rekindled our friendship when I was at UT Dental School & he was at Rice University.

Many years have past since we had contact, but I often thought of him in high regard.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your Father.

Michael was always my role model....the one I could never actually live up to....he was the best. I will hold him in my heart.
