Not sure what to say?

Susette,
I was so surprised and sorry to see Mike's obituary in the paper. My heart goes out to you and your family. I haven't seen you or Mike for so long, but I know what it's like to lose a husband who was young. Unfortunately, it seems Mike suffered for a while and that must have been very hard on you and the family.
My husband, Fran, and I had to go out of town on business on the day of Mike's funeral. I was so upset not to be there.
My love to all your...

Susette, even though we are far away and haven't seen you in a few years, we all have you and your family in our deepest thoughts and most heart felt prayers.

Susette,

I was stunned to hear of Mike's passing. As you may know I just saw Mike a few weeks ago ( I had not talked to him for a few years) at a luncheon he arranged for some of the old JC/Touch football gang. He was, well, the same Mike that I have always known the whole time we were together. He was fun, opinionated? (yes), but Gentle. None of us there would have know Mike was having to deal with any health issues.

Linda and I send our love and prayers to you and the...

Susette,

We are so sorry for you loss. Glenda and I both send our thoughts and prayers. May God bless and keep you during this time of sorrow.

Susette,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Toni contacted Barbara, and she contacted all of our classmates. You and your family have my heartfelt condolences; I just wish there were something tangible that family and friends could do to make your life a little easier right now.

Susette,
I am so sorry to hear about your
loss. May God continue to bless and
comfort you and your family. You are
in our thoughts and prayers.

Susette,

I am so sorry for your loss,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for you and your family.

I'm going to miss Mike's ever-smiling face and his joshing whenever we met. It's a sad day for all who knew him. He leaves us with a void that can't be filled. Good-bye, Mike, hope to see you later.

Mike - I'll miss you but will not forget you. You were a big influence in my life; a real friend and partner.

Susette and family - Having now lost both my in-laws and now Mike in less than a year I can only add what a good friend told me which is that slowly you will find that your grief will be replaced with gratitude. God's blessing.

Mike Butler
