Not sure what to say?

I just heard about Dr. Wongs passing. we are so sorry. he was the best Dr. he would come in the exam room, call me and my child by our first names, look me straight in the eye and tell me what was wrong and the treatment. he obviously looked at the chart before he came in. my boys adored him.

Gazette Times July 8, 2022 Letter to The Editor, I know numerous parents join me in lamenting the loss of Dr. Michael Wong in our community. I cannot imagine a pediatrician more revered than this kind, caring, witty, competent doctor who practiced both healing and hugging by word, by action and by intent. My daughter had poison oak. After examination, Dr. Wong quipped to Kaelin, "you need new skin!" And she got it! His obituary was humbly short and sweet. He passed quietly, as...

The memory I'd like to share is being in dance classes with Michael and Fran at the Timberhill Athletic Club about 20 years ago. Their warmth, good humor, and kindness is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I'm sure that his four decades of service in medicine positively affected countless lives and made our world a more pleasant place to live. And such an appropriate branch of medicine he chose, where he could be a positive influence in people's formative years. Thank...

It was never a problem to get my boys to go see Dr. Wong. He always made them laugh and feel comfortable in what is often a very uncomfortable situation for little kids. What a treasure he was. He will be missed.

Noah and the Wong family, you are in our thoughts and prayers, thinking of all of you during such a challenging time.

I just heard this news today. I am so sorry to hear of Dr Wong's passing.... he was a pediatrician for both of my boys until his retirement, and we loved him so! He was also a very good sport in the "Dancing with the Stars" for CYS with which my older son was involved. Fran was a beautiful dancer, and Dr Wong was a great accessory for her! Condolences to the family.... he was a great source of information and humor and comfort to me (and the boys) as a new mom. Best to all- Kristin...

Dr. Wong was a very nice doctor, RIP .

Forty six years ago when we lived in Corvallis, we met Mike and Fran. That was the start of a wonderful friendship. As we got to know Mike, we realized he was an excellent pediatrician and he gave us confidence to become new parents. When we had our first child, Mike became our son´s doctor. Although we moved away, we still cherish those times together. We are so sad to hear of Mike´s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Fran and the family at this difficult time. Please accept...

Dr. Wong became my 3 daughter´s Pediatrician after moving to Corvallis in 1983. Having asked other Mom´s with children their age, it was a unanimous choice, one that I never regretted. He was so kind and my girls really liked him. I also had the pleasure of being on the March of Dimes board with him. He had a great sense of humor and made that time so enjoyable, being so willing to do what it took to make our campaign successful. My family will forever remember him fondly.
