Michael was one of my first and best neighborhood buddies. We'd walk to Glenside Elementary with our siblings each day and play and laugh and talk along the way. We spent many hours running through the neighborhood playing hide n go seek or kick the can or kickball and riding our bikes. Great times. Once when another neighbor boy threw an ice ball at me and I cried, Mike chased him down, brought him back to me and made him apologize. He was at my first boy/ girl dance party when I turned...
