Not sure what to say?

I think about Mike, almost every day. He and I were friends, since 4th grade. There are just too many things that remind me of him. A nice bourbon, the State Fair and Big Tex, watching tennis, fishing, and countless other things. I miss him, dearly. I know he had a big impact on a vast number of people and the city of Dallas.

We were devastated to learn last night from a mutual friend of Mikes passing. The last time I saw him was before we moved to Santa Fe and I gave him a large framed print of the Colonnade at W&L which we didn´t have room for in our house in Santa Fe. Mike was incredibly kind to me when we arrived in Dallas and helped us find our lease at Republic Center. He also drafted me to run on Team Nuts. He as a connecter who always wanted to help others. He will be missed. Much love to Piper.

Piper, I have been praying for you since I first heard this news. Though I did not know Mike in life, I have loved getting to know him through these tributes and am consoled that you shared your life and love with such a good soul. I know this is not a cup you want and pray for you to have God's strength, God's peace, and God's love surrounding you today and in all the days ahead.

Few people you meet bring out the best in you and others, Mike had a magical spirit. I will always remember your voice in my soul, and be inspired by your love. Rest in peace. The Corcoran family

When asked, Mike was quick to counsel and guide with a steady hand and patience. He was profoundly human and will be profoundly missed.

Piper, I'm so sorry for your loss. As a person that has struggled with depression throughout my life, I appreciate the courage it takes for you all to publicly acknowledge that even an optimistic, accomplished, and popular man as Mike can be struggling on the inside. Our hearts are with you. John & Jill

Mike was a great person and a valued colleague when I worked with him at Cushman & Wakefield. He was the guy you were happy to see at our national meetings. His attitude was an inspiration for those of us who knew him.
