I remember very well the photos Mama took that were showcased and stored in family photo books of how Michael Wynn and my brother, Ernest Perry, Jr., grew up together as toddlers; they both were so adorable, particularly in their winter leggings, coats and mittens. Their friendship lasted a LIFETIME; sadly, Ernest Jr. never fully recovered from the loss of his BEST FRIEND...he learned to live with the pain that was etched into his very psyche.
