Not sure what to say?

What a shock! We are praying for you and your family. We were at Gitchee Gumee last week, and the wonderful people there prayed for you every day.

We were deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful man, husband, father, and friend. Time and distance separated us over the years, but Michael will always be remembered as a person who gave so much to others, so willing to give a helping hand. Our thoughts and prayers go with all of you.

Beth and Boys,
We are so sorry for your loss. May God's love comfort you and give you peace....

Such a touching service. Mike truly lives on in the lives he has touched, and in our collective memories. And how fitting that it it is in his Yooper hometown of Calumet -native for peace-pipe- that this worthy peace-maker be laid to rest.

To the Yates family: We were sorry to hear of Michael's accident. Since 1971, we were all part of the skating family with Michael and his brother, Shirley and Jim. He will be remembered and missed. He will be in our prayers along with Beth and family.

Beth and boys, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. He will be greatly missed by all, he was a wonderful man.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Beth and family. I haven't seen you, Beth for many years since our days at the Cabin in the UP. We're now neighbors. I am praying for comfort and peace for you all.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but prayer and the love of God, family and friends can carry you through.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

To the Yates Family,

My condolences on your loss. I didn't know Michael but Shirley told us many stories about his Law Enforcement work and she was a very proud mom.
