So sorry to hear of Yavo's passing. I was fortunate enough to have him as my coach from 1977-81 on the Hinsdale South Track and Cross Country teams. He was mentor to many and and a friend to all. He has left lasting memories with many Hornets. I can still hear his whistle echoing throughout the field house as I rounded the final turn. He will be missed.
