Michael A. Yoder

Michael A. Yoder, age 62, of North Canton passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, March 24, 2013 after many months battling cancer. He was born June 30, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to the late Joas and Fay (Eloise) Yoder. Michael graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1969. He retired from the Hoover Company after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved Jesus, scripture and spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Ron Yoder. Michael is survived by his son, Brian (Angela) Yoder and daughter, Molly (Michael) Rodgers; grandchildren, Alexandra, Hannah, Madison, Marisa, Makenzie and Mason; brothers, Daniel Yoder and David (Anita) Yoder; aunt, Sara Kandel. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of Michael's care givers and close friends, Danny, Elaine, Paula, Bill, Mike, Angelo, Dad's bible study friends and Aultman Compassionate Care Center. In honoring Michael's wishes services will be private. The Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
