Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy:

I have been a friend of Mike's since high school. Our friendship spanned almost 50 years. Mike didn't have an easy time growing up, but he had wit and energy and drive and accomplished so much in his life. And he had such a champion in his mother, Margaret. He did so well in his professional life, but his best accomplishment was raising Michelle, Lesley, Michael and Patrick. I know that Mike had MS but he was not about to let that slow him down, as much as he was able....

Nancy-I think that the entry from Dick King speaks volumes about Michael..His smile was catching and even if you did not want to smile--he always got one..
I am so sorry that this wonderful man is gone but I know that he is with the Lord and that gives me peace..
I send you my love and ask that God will bless your family and get you all through this difficult and painful time.
Love,
Rena

I knew Mike most from high school....last time I saw him was our reunion. He was a very special person and I am so sorry for your loss.

Nancy-I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike, Dennis and I go back more years than we care to remember and have gone through many good and bad times. I will always remember Mike's smile, sense of humor (?) and love he had for his family. You and the kids are in my thoughts.

Nancy, So sorry and surprised to hear this. Mike was one of my favorite people and a great mentor. All the best to you and your family during these tough times.

Nancy and family,
My heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers for all of you. The love you shared was so evident. His support of you and all you've done, in addition to all of his selfless work in our greater labor community was without bounds. He definitely has left his mark on so many lives, many who never had the opportunity to meet him in person.
Take care. Always, Jerri Wood

I was sorry to hear that Mike left us. As one who sat on the other side of the table from Mike I had great respect for Mike as a negotiator and as a person, and how could you forget that smile.

Nancy,
I was shocked and extremely saddened to read of Mike's passing. He was too good a person to be taken from us so early. My condolences to you and your family for Mike's loss and all you have suffered for the past year. Please let me know if I can be any help at any time.
