Send FlowersMichael was born on February 26, 1956 and passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. Michael was a resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas at the time of passing. He was a graduate of Texas High School Class of 1974 in Texarkana, was an Eagle Scout in Troop 5 of Caddo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and served as Chief of the Order of the Arrow of the Akela Wahinapay Lodge where he spent his summers working at Camp Pioneer Boy Scout Camp in Hatfield, Arkansas. Dr. Young was born on February 26, 1956 in Bangkok, Thailand where his father was stationed in the United States Air Force. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 100 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday, January 4th at 10:00 a.m. Family visitation will follow the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Dr. Young was always there when he was needed and with a smile. He never made you feel that any questions or concerns
were silly. He seemed to have a great empathy for others and shared many of his own challenges to help comfort you.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him and I pray that his family garners the strength to deal with his loss at his
early passing. God bless Dr. Michael Young.

Hello Youngs--
I knew both Mike and Mark thru their friend Bill Case, also from Texarkana, in college at the U of A back in the late 70s. I am so sad to hear of Mike's passing. A finer fellow there never was.
Back then, Mike was in business school at UA, as was I, so I'd see him around. Never forget seeing him tooting around Fayetteville in that off-white bug of theirs.
Don't know how Mike got from biz school to med school, but he sure did. I'll bet he was a fine doctor,...
