“Geez Louise, Macaroni and Cheese”

I took it back to 8th grade with that one. Girl we used fo get on that science teacher’s nerves LOL. I can’t remember her name right nowbut for some reason, I was led here today. Maybe because I’m in Cali for the first time in almost 20 years. I can’t come to the west without thinking about you.

I love you. You are not and will never be forgotten.

Stopping by to say hey sis. You cross my mind so frequently, you’d think we never lost contact after I moved from Cali. I’m grateful we had a chance to reconnect one last time. I thank you for all the laughs we shared as kids. Ah, the Dover days. You know I still have my yearbook some 20 years later? I read your message not too long agomade my heart smile. I’m rambling, but I think the short version is, I miss you. While the season was short lived, the memories will last a lifetime. You will...

I had a moment today reading what you wrote in my Dover yearbook. It's still surreal to me, and I just want to believe you're a few states over glowing as usual...You would be surprised at how much you impacted my life sis. My work is shaped in your honor, and I hope I make you proud. Michaela, I love you and miss you dearly and will see you on the other side...

Michaela you were always a ray of sunshine. You were always smiling and brought positive energy to those in your presence. You were an very intelligent person and could be spotted laughing amongst a group of friends. You are deeply missed girl, I hope I get to see you again.

Every June 22 I have a moment of silence with myself to honor my childhood best friend. Thank you for being the change to my life, Michaela. You're in my heart, always.
