Michal Ann "Micki" Perry

I knew Micki from her writing days. She was interesting and fun. I remember the two of us driving down to central Texas for a book signing in some little town. The store owner had forgotten to advertise that we were coming and we spent the whole afternoon -- just the two of us -- talking and laughing at what had happened, browsing books, and plotting . . . as writers always do when given the opportunity. It was a dud of a book signing, but we had a great afternoon.
