Not sure what to say?

Mike took some very special pictures of me I am disabled and have a lazy eye mike always captured my beauty and shaded my bad eye so I always look my best he will be greatly missed and he impacted my life in a very important way as I now have a modeling agent

A random caller found me today looking for my father's archives. While I share a surname and photography with Mike I never met the man. The caller thought he had moved to Seattle. I am sorry for your loss.

May I inquire about the archives?

This will make Mike laugh. I'm a photographer in Melbourne, Australia. I recently bought some film holders from the US. I was cleaning them up today and noticed the name Barth La Jolla written on the holder and did a Google search hoping to find where they came from! I'm sure he'd be pleased! Cheers

Mike Barth took photographs of my family from when we were little girls in the 70s through my wedding in the late 90s and many happy times in between. His "look at the birdie" technique will never be forgotten. Thank you for the amazing pictures. You will be missed.

I worked with Mike Barth for 5 years at Scripps. My most respected wishes go out to his family. Everyday he projected light and an uplifting attitude. His contributions and spirit will echo throughout San Diego and my self for many years to come. To all who knew him would agree. Thank you mike for being who you are. With all sincerity rest in the best of peace. The world was a better place with Mike in it.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heartfelt sympathy.

Our condolences to the family and friends. Be our loving God a secure refuge for all if you as he promise ib Psalm 9:9;10

As I look at our family photos I will always think of Mike He captured the best of us and especially our unruly cocker spaniel. We have missed seeing him in the LJPC choir. Our sympathy is extended to the family.

Saddened to hear of Mike's passing. We remember him from his studio on Pearl at Girard and later near our office on Fay Avenue. He was always a pleasant man with a sweet touch and attitude. Loved his showcase of his family portraits in his Fay Avenue studio. With sympathy to his wife and family.
