Weekends on the Farm

Michele Reed's idea of a good time was getting muddy in her black-and-white all- terrain vehicle. On weekends, Michele, 26, and her twin sister, Jennifer, would escape the city for their family's dairy farm in Plymouth, N.Y. After the kisses and hugs, they would dust off their A.T.V.'s and race through the woods. Sometimes, they were joined by a brother, an aunt, or another relative.

Everybody in the family had their own vehicle. ''Those two girls can keep up with the best of them,'' said their aunt, Darlene Beckwith. Michele, who worked at Aon, even talked her grandmother into tagging along last month. ''We have a lot of fun doing things as a family,'' Darlene said. ''We like to try to go through mud to see who gets stuck.'' That day, no one did. In the past year, Michele started taking a boyfriend to the farm. He had his own A.T.V., too.

Not sure what to say?

This sounds silly but I have always wanted to come to NYC and remember vividly that day as I am sure everyone does! I made it I am here with my sister for my 50th birthday! When I came out of the memorial I checked to see if anyone shared my birthday and found Michele she was born on the exact same day as me! Which means she would have turned 50 a few weeks ago! She isn´t here she didn´t see it! I found her name I said a prayer and left a white band for her RIP Michele I am so so so sorry you...

A beautiful princess gone too soon .her beauty captivated me..rest easy princess

To The Reed Family Truly sorry for your daughter loss and so sorry that I´m posting this 22 yrs later .I was your daughter mailman when she lived in Clifton, NJ . I remember Michelle as a person who enjoyed life . I remember the one time when she got into her friend convertible and as they were taking off Michelle raised her arms and shouted : woo hoo, let´s go the city , which made me laugh ! Again my condolences to the family.

My youngest daughter is now the same age you and I were when we became friends in Mr. Exley's 8th grade social studies class. I had always thought that we'd meet up again someday. I was able to meet Jaclyn soon after the horrific events that took you to the angels. It was beautiful to hear the stories about the amazing person I always knew you were. You already know that she won't be able to post her annual rememberance to you this year because she is with you in heaven now. It's almost...

Beautiful Lady & clearly missed by many. Also a beautiful name. Because we share that I like to remember her too. Interesting how her middle name is shared by my elder sister who passed in 2014. Love to all.

I still can’t believe it’s been 20 years! Time goes by so fast. I remember hanging with you and Jen like it was yesterday! Michele you will forever be in my prayers and my heart!

Thinking of Michele and the laughs we had at the Eaton Center. Seems like yesterday.

Thinking of our days together at Caz! You will always be in my heart!

It’s been 20 years since this tragic day. How unfair that you were deprived of the life you should have had. But, knowing you ran face first to help others that day. You are missed and loved every second of each day. RIP Michele till we meet again.
