I knew Michelle at Holy Angels. I was the drill team captain. Michelle was a strong member. Every year the drill team participated in a city-wide competition. As part of that competition there was an individual competition involving one member of each drill team. When Michelle was a sophomore, she represented Holy Angels. She was nervous about the competition and it always helped to talk it over with her. While she didn't win the competition, she represented HA very well. I preceded Michelle...

I am so very sorry to read of Michelle's death. I remember a sweet little blonde girl, lovingly costumed and encouraged by Grace, entertaining us all. My sympathies to all the Raneys.
