Michele Caputo

I was crushed to hear of Michele's death this last spring. She and I were great friends when she lived in the San Diego area, and both were members of the NSCIS chapter there. When she returned to San Diego for a visit (after moving to Florida) we always saw each other and shared many laughs and good meals. I will miss her forever.

Michele was my classmate since childhood and like family at St Cecilias. That was a special time in the 60s and Springdale was a special place. Michele had great parents and a close family. It seemed as if there was a force field protecting us from the outside world. Michele drew her strength from her family and community. I admire Michele's courage and unselfishness as she reach out and help others.

Michele, I remember your physical beauty at SHS as well as your popularity. When I saw you at our inaugural high school reunion, my heart sunk. Then I heard you speak. You were so uplifting. Pity the people who never met you. A braver soul I have never met.

What an amazing woman Michele was & with so many amazing accomplishments.. I grew up in springdale Michele lived behind me..I walk by the Caputo house everyday with my boxer & think of Michele.. what a power of example...RIP Michele

I’m terribly sorry to hear of Michele’s passing. My condolences to the family. I was Michele’s hairstylist and we had an amazing bond over the truths of life and our love of dogs. I can not believe that she is gone...such a sweet uplifting spirit! Rest well my friend.

My condolences to Michele’s family and friends. I knew Michele in high school. She was kind and always greeted you with a smile, and I remember she had such beautiful hair! Michele, despite challenges you accomplished so much in life. May you rest in peace, and know that you were an inspiration to many.

I'm very sorry to hear of Michele's passing.I knew her when we were young,in Springdale.Never forgot her.I had no idea that she accomplished so much.Terrible loss.
