Michele Dupuy Asher

Michele Dupuy Asher passed away after a brief illness on April 14, 2023. She was born in NY, moved to NJ when she was 7, met her husband Rick in High School and eventually got back together with him while he was living in Montana. She headed out west, married and had a son. She was laid to rest in Montana.

  Michele will always be remembered by her family and friends for her generous spirit, kind heart, soft touch and bright smile.   When she was little her nickname was "button nose." She was an Irish Twin, a social butterfly and willing to be of service wherever she was needed.
 Michele learned to live out in the west, chopping wood, growing organic food in the greenhouse she built on her gorgeous property. She was a go-getter, hard worker and a tough cookie.   Michele loved her family back east and would come home often. The love she had for her family in both Jersey and Montana brought her so much joy which she never took for granted.

  Michele was preceded in death by her mom, Sheila Dupuy.
She is survived by her dad, Emil Dupuy, husband Rick and son Joshua Asher, siblings Antoinette, Jeannette, Suzanne, Eddie and Danielle, her Auntie Reenie and Uncle John, Aunt Bev along with lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service of Remembrance will be offered on Saturday May 20, 2023 at 10 am from St Bartholomew the Apostle Church 2032 Westfield Avenue Scotch Plains, NJ.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Church from 9:30 am until time of Mass.
