We are sad over the loss of Michele Gerace, a man of serenity, resilience and compassion. May his loving memories live through all the lives that he touched and his love be spread for everyone to share. We have been honestly blessed to be in the presence of a caring, and self-less individual.

I write on behalf of my family in Sydney, Australia to express our deepest condolences for Michele's family. We regret that we did not have a chance to get to know Michele better but our family still holds their memories of Michele in their hearts. My family knew Michele's family since they first immigrated from Italy. Michele's dad wanted him to meet my brother Vito, who was studying to be an engineer and thought he could give Michele some guidance.
