Not sure what to say?

Mike was our social worker when we were trying to adopt a child with Catholic Family Services. Many things happened during this time though Mike was steadfast, loyal, compassionate advocate for my family. By her advocacy she helped us adopt a child and we are forever thankful and grateful to her. Prayers for her family

A light went out in the world when we lost Auntie Mike, but our loss is the heaven's gain. I can almost see Dad's spirit being there to greet his little sister as she transitioned to peace we might only imagine. Among so many memories are her as a 22-year old, laughing and running on the wet, gray sand of Ocean Shores with Uncle Art, in rolled up Levis and sweatshirts (it is the Northwest!), playing on the driftwood with us. Perky, little pixie haircut even then. A dear treasure she gave me...

I remember Mike well, she was always kind and fun to talk to when my sister and I would come to visit our mother, Jean Sherar at the Red Cross.

I had the privilege of working with Mike at the American Red Cross. Mike was always so genuine and helpful. Mike always took the time to talk to me no matter how busy she was. We always were able to have a great laugh together even on those stressful days. Mike will be missed very much and I know she is a beautiful angel in god's loving arms. Heartfelt sympathies and fond memories.

On behalf of all Sisters of the Holy Names, especially those who taught at Holy Names Academy, Spokane, may we offer prayerful sympathy to Mike's family and friends. May her new way of living in God's Presence bring great peace and joy to her, and may you experience Mike's nearness always.

mike was a great gal, so full of fun and laughter. i enjoyed her in new life and in my red hat group, she always made our meetings a lot more enjoyable. she subbed for our neighborhood bunco many times, all the girls loved her and her witt.
i know her last years were very hard for her but she always had a smile for us and never complained she was such a joy to be around. i will keep her memory tucked in my heart forever.
rest in peace my caring friend.
