Michele always knew what to do. In any given situation. She was calm, cool and collected. She was the glue that held everything together. She was tough but kind and loving. She could run a tight ship. It was not unusual for Michele to come home from work only to invite friends over make a great dinner, run a kid to soccer practice, pick the other one up from dance class and entertain for the rest of the evening. Walter and I are shocked and deeply upset that Michelle was taken so suddenly. I can't help but think of that hackneyed adage that the good die young. Certainly Michelle was a caring friend to us, sponsoring a baby shower for our first child during a period of illness for me that made us less than the gracious folk we wish we could have been. She did such a great job including us in family celebrations; all in all she was a great example of what a person should aspire to be in this world. ...
