I met Michele many years ago through the Art Quilt Network and was an instant fan. Michele had such a huge heart, was so kind, funny and smart. I was lucky enough to purchase many of her hand dyed fabrics and vintage laces as well as booklets of her incredible poetry,. I spoke of her yesterday when sharing one of my quilts on which I´d used Michele´s hand- dyed chenille cording. It´s the first thing people noticed. I am incredibly saddened by Michele´s passing.
