Michele Lynn Pieraccini passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous 20-month battle with stage 4 breast cancer. She was 59 years old. She left this world the way she lived it, surrounded by people who loved her.
Michele was born on June 29, 1966, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Darryl and Vera Janikowski. She is survived by her mom, Vera; devoted husband, Steve Pieraccini; her beloved daughters, Kaitlyn and Hailey; her son-in-law, Paul Davis; and her cherished grandson, Logan.
Michele lived a vibrant and joyful life, surrounded by friends and family who adored her. Though her time was far too short, she filled every day with warmth, laughter, and adventure. She found joy in travel, connection, and the simple pleasures of everyday life. Even during the most difficult moments of her illness, Michele's positivity and strength never wavered-her spirit remained bright and her heart full of love.
A memorial service to celebrate Michele's life will be held on Sunday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Friedman Event Center in Santa Rosa, California.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Michele's memorial fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , a cause close to her heart.

Not sure what to say?

Kaitlyn and Hailey, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. She adored you girls so much. May you find peace in all your wonderful memories of her. Take good care of yourselves and your family. Sincerely, Stacy Fabian (Attendance Casa)

I´ll always remember Michele as a truly warm and kind-hearted soul. Every afternoon during kindergarten pickup, she would stop by to greet my daughter in her stroller with the sweetest smile and gentle warmth. It was such a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about the kindness she carried in her heart. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will always bring a smile. My deepest condolences to the entire family. May you find comfort in the love she shared and the joy she brought to so many.

I will always cherish raising our kids through elementary school together, scrapbook trips to apple hill and bunco once a month. Michelle you were a bright star, always made me laugh with your beautiful smile. Sending all our love and prayers to the family.

Such a lovely person with a big heart.
