I have known Mish since we were classmates at UMass back in the 1970's. We stayed in touch and shared many laughs and great ideas over the years. She was such a font of wisdom and many sought her sound advice including me. Her career provided so many good things for others ( The CT Hospice which she set up with Dr. Bernie Siegal in Branford, CT., her work at NIH, her community health nursing achievements, the book she co-authored with Dr. Melanie Dreher and her teaching career at UMass and...

Mes sincères condoléances.

Claire, Jude and family: my sincere condolences on the passing of a dear family friend. I will remember Micheline at the piano accompanying us in song at memorable holiday gatherings. Ever grateful for the strong bonds our respective families shared. Warm regard, Helen Desrosiers

They participated in organizing efforts to establish health care in the projects by providing their health care and...

Sending thoughts and prayers to Claire and family.

Dear Claire, So sad to see Micheline died. It must be hard to lose a sister who was a big presence in your life. I remember how kind she was to my Aunt Marielle when she was ill. Hope your memories of her with your family help ease your pain. Wishing you peace, Marie Cheney(Desrosiers)

A good and kind force yet she got things done, she set expectations and she accepted nothing less, not only for her students, but herself. And yes, she leaves an incredible legacy within nursing, she certainly influenced me and gave me the confidence to continue on my educational path. She was also a...

Knew Mish from the time she entered The Springfield Hospital School of Nursing as a student 2 years behind me. Always had a smile and a joke. She was a great addition to the nursing profession.
