Michelle helped to start one of the most vibrant and strong self advocacy groups in Western New York (a group to help people with developmental disabilities speak up for themselves), the LEADERS Self Advocacy group. She also was profoundly instrumental in forming and facilitating the Western New York Partnership Coalition- which gives out an award each year to an agency which demonstrates working in partnership with the people it serves, supporting their leadership and community standing,...

Michelle believed in us. She shared her deep, loving faith through action to advocate for and support others. Michelle was a mentor and her beautiful character lives on as we will continue to love and serve others. Prayers in Jesus name for comfort and peace during this time of loss.

Michelle would be stunned that I am at a loss for words. After 22 years of sharing, fighting, caring... her passing breaks my heart. No one can ever replace the good she brought to this world. She was an amazing woman!!!! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Much love always!

Michelle was such an amazing person! I owe so much to her for who I am today. Michelle supervised me for a few years at CSDD and she was a huge support and a great sounding board. When looking back on my time with Michelle I truly feel like the majority of my job was just great laughter and respect for such a termendous person, supervisor and friend. Wear your wings well Michelle, you deserve them! God has truly gained a hardworking, dedicated and loving angel today!
