Funeral for Michelle Knowles Burcham, 38, of Danville will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Beltline Church of Christ in Decatur with Chris Presnell, Nicky Presnell and Brother Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burcham, who died Thursday, November 14, 2013, was born July 16, 1975, to Doyle Knowles and Vickie Austin. She enjoyed substitute teaching, especially special education.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Burcham; two daughters, Regan and Mallory Burcham, both of Danville; her father, Doyle Knowles and stepmother, Pat, of Athens; mother, Vickie Austin of Decatur; one sister, Laura Knowles of Athens; three stepbrothers, Jack Watts of Tennessee, Robert Hannah of Kentucky and Thomas Hannah of Athens; and her grandparents, John and Jean Austin.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

I am so sorry for your loss,Michelle was a great person and great mom to her girls, she was at every softball game taking score and every soccer game. She will never be forgotten. Makayla wants Mallory to know that she has Been praying,for her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Michelle and I were good friends in high school and had many good times together. She had such a fun spirit and sense of humor. I know she will be dearly missed.

I enjoyed my short visits with Michelle and Chris while they were in Miami. They became a part of our church family as we prayed for her during the long wait to receive her transplant. She was eager to return home to her daughters, family and friends. Although she has passed, she left a lingering impression upon all of us here in Miami. We continue to pray for the family that God will grant you peace and comfort as you grieve.

Michelle and I went to school together at Tri-County Bible School and she always was laughing and smiling. She was always a happy person and I am lucky to have known her.
