I had the pleasure of meeting & getting to know Shelly when her & Jay were next door neighbors to my parents, Mary Ann & Don McVey. She always had a big smile and a hello! She was especially kind to my Mom, who was blind, and she would always bring her beautiful children to talk over the fence & come over for Mom to play with them.
