Not sure what to say?

Michelle, I miss you so much. I couldn´t have asked for a better sister. I still can´t believe you´ve moved up to Heaven. Please give Dad a huge hug from me and give Bitsy some special Heaven treats. We sure had so much fun! I think about you so much. I will always love you.

Michelle was absolutely the sweetest person to join us at Sheldon. She always welcomed us (the staff) with open and loving arms. Dave's devotion was a breath of fresh air and inspiring. Thank you to all of the family for sharing Michelle with us. She will be missed.

I was saddened to hear the news of Michelle's passing. I only encountered her a handful of times at GVSU but I recall a palpable zest for life and genuine kindness even in those brief moments, particularly one morning after I had a fender bender on the way into campus. Prayers for her family and friends during this time.

Sean and I feel grateful to have known Michelle for so many years. She made the History Department the place to be for information, encouragement, and fun. We agreed to host the History Department annual picnic for a few years primarily because Michelle was the essential part of the package. She and Dave would arrive early to help us put up the canopies and balloons and figure out how to arrange the furniture. And they would stay late to put everything back in the right place. Michelle...

I didn't work in the History department, but I popped in every once in awhile just for the delight Michelle brought. She brought me joy, sometimes when I most needed it. I'm so sad to hear she's left us. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Nothing but fond memories of Michelle with Dave during the high schools years and later at class reunions. A well grounded lady with impeccable character.

Words just can't express my sadness that my dear friend is no longer here. You were not just my friend but a confidant, a main supporter when I needed you the most, a partner in crime, and my companion of many adventures for over 30 years. I will miss you, Michelle. You will always live in a small corner of my heart. Goodbye my friend.
