Michelle L. Holden

Michelle L. (Laporte) Holden, 43, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Born in Holyoke, she was a 1991 graduate of Greenfield High School and a 1995 graduate of Westfield State University with a degree in psychology. Michelle worked for twenty years as a project manager at Yankee Candle Company. She leaves two daughters, Yvonne “Evie” Holden, Joie Elizabeth Holden, her parents, Michael and Arline (O’Connor) Laporte all of South Hadley, a sister and her husband, Nicole and Stephen Murdoch of Wilbraham, a niece and nephew, Grace Murdoch and Thomas Murdoch, her longtime boyfriend, Joel Morris of Holyoke, and his children, Zachary, Joshua and Rebecca Morris. The funeral will be Saturday at 9am from the CURRAN-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street with a Mass in St. Patrick’s Church at 10. The burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm.
