Michelle McGee Obituary

Michelle D. McGee, age 49, passed away on April 10, 2018. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 7, 1968. She is survived by her parents, Douglas M. Dauser and Kathleen E. Turlich. She is also survived by her loving husband; Robert P. McGee, and her daughter; Brittany M. Russell, granddaughter; Avery M. Nemeth, her sisters; Denise M. Cortez and Terri Lynn Causey, nieces and nephews; Caitlin M. Cortez, Jove M. Cortez, Gabriella E. Killett, Charlie G. Causey, Neil J. Schexnayder, Denise J. Herzog, and Brian M. Teston, sisters-in-law; Kathleen M. Teston and Janet E. Schexnayder (Brian). Michelle loved spending time with her family, especially with her daughter Brittany shopping for baby clothes for her granddaughter Avery, who referred to Michelle as ""TeeTee"". Michelle enjoyed spending many hours of loving time with Avery, rocking her to sleep. Michelle also enjoyed her weekly Saturday dates with her husband. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana beginning at 9:00 am - 11:00 am, with a Memorial Service celebrating her life starting at 11:00 am.
