Not sure what to say?

Thinking of Michelle and remembering her kindness and support. Michelle insisted that our daughter be treated with sensitivity and respect. I will always be grateful to her for her advocacy and true, big-hearted devotion.

I'm so sad to hear of Michelle Olmsted's death. Dr. Olmsted treated our daughter Kiyomi when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1999. I don't know how we would have gotten through those first days without Dr. Olmsted's care. She was wonderful--beyond any description I can give here. Thanks to Dr. Olmsted, Kiyomi has been healthy and in good control of her blood sugars--and life. Our family is in debt to Dr. Olmsted for her medical expertise as well as her human kindness. She will be...

I was in shock to find out about Dr Olmsted this morning. My son had been a patient of hers since Kindergarten. He's now 14 years old. Dr Olmsted always treated us with kindness. We will miss her. Ours prayers go out to her family and friends.

I just found out this terrible news this morning. I am so heartbroken to hear of Michelle's passing. She was so much more than a doctor to our 3 kids- since 2005. In 2006 our son was diagnosed by 3 doctors with a stomach flu. But when we came with our daughter for a routine checkup, Michelle took one look at our son and told us to take him IMMEDIATELY to UNM as he had a ruptured appendix. I know without a doubt she saved his life that day. She will be sorely missed, we will never forget her,...

My wife just called me Dr Olmsted was our daughters doctor since 2008. She was such a good person and doctor. she always was always doing extra from arguing with insurance companies to taking extra care and checking up on my little one She was truly a special person we will miss her dearly. The world will be a little darker, but heaven will be even more beatiful. May the peace of our Lord be with her forever and ever.

I just found out the horrible news :o( My girls and I are so sad. Dr. Olmsted was a wonderful person. She had been working so hard for my Daughter Alexis who is very complex. We will miss her so much. We watched the tribute video and it was beautiful :o) Our hearts go out to Michelle's family.

My 4 year old has been a paitent of Dr Olmsted's since April of 2007. I credit her keen eye and concern for every paitent for diagnosing my daughter with Cystic Fibrosis, which enabled us to get her the care she needed to thrive and stay healthy.
Her passing leaves a huge hole in my families life.

Dr. Olmstead was an amazing pediatrician. She had a way of putting stressed parents at ease. She made us feel confident and reassured after meeting with her. She will be truly missed. We are just devistated to hear of her passing. Our prayers go out to her family. Tim & April Roybal (Alexis & AJ Gonzales & Timothy Roybal).
