Her death occurred on my mother's birthdate. I will forever remember Mickey!

Heartbreaking.... I just saw an episode of See No Evil and I am sorry to learn about the horrible passing of your beloved Mickey to the tragedies of this world....my heartfelt condolences to the Shunick Family, and Friends. I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss....Matthew 5:4

As a mother a tear runs down my face for you. I know your family will grieve for a long time, maybe forever but must take comfort in knowing what a inspiringly beautiful person you were to so many people.

Not sure if you remember us, but Mickey came to our farm one summer as a counselor for our Equestrian Camps. She touched the lives of over 20 children that summer and many are still riding and enjoying the sport. I know that she has influenced many young equestrians at Willow Oaks as well. She will be remembered with love, affection, & laughter--"The Mickey Way".

Our prayers and thoughts continue for Mickey's family. Mickey is now watching over all from a much better place. May she...

No one in Lafayette will ever see a bicycle and not think of Mickey and say a prayer for her and her family.

I didn't know you personally but for me you are a great testament to faith. Your family and friends are truly fighters as you were and your name will be forever etched in the heart of this city.
