Not sure what to say?

Mickey Wright was an idol of mine ( and I didn't and don't have many). I followed her every move until she retired far too early - but with records never to be matched in the same span of time. She was to be in a tourney in Wheeling, WV,in the 70's, and I was so excited that I'd get-to see her golf in person, only to be bitterly disappointed that she had to cancel at the last minute. I was really devastated. She was and will remain the GOAT of women's golf. Period.

Goodbye Mickey, I cherish all the times we spent together fishing, playing golf, and long talks, I always wanted to get back to you but these golf courses kept me away, but I should have found a way. Thanks for learning me how to be humble, see you in heaven, love always my friend and mentor

I've been reading a lot about great women golfers. The great Babe Didrikson said she was impressed by Mickey Wright when Mickey was 19 years old. Rest in Peace.

My sympathy to Mickey's family. May you pour your heart out to God because his understanding is beyond measure.
