Mother of Pearl

Absorbed deep within my heart,
your love forever,
my worthy pain.

Angelic presence,
Beholder of ethereal eyes,
precious depths.

Clouds heavy, days forlorn, loss,
lost without your heavens iridescence.

Knowing your contagious laughter,
energy, sun filled ways,
rescues me.

May starry nights blanket your space?
Oceans swirl your magic shells, divine.

When my weeping...

So sorry to hear of Micki's passing. She was a wonderful director and an inspiring human being. I will always cherish the family portrait she did for us. My prayers go to John and family.

Micki was probably my first inspiring acting teacher. As a student I revered her, as an audience member I was enthralled by her and as an adult I am honoured to share a community with her. She was a mover and a shaker and a fireball. I loved her wild throaty laugh and the way she would ruffle her fantastic mane of red hair. She was the embodiment of everything that was theatrical. So sorry to lose Micki,
She was an inspiring actress and teacher with such a unique and delightful sense of play. I will always cherish the few opportunities to work with beloved Micki.
Love to John, Bev and the whole family

Such sad news.
Micki helped me settle into the Vancouver Theatre scene of the early '70's and her family always looked after me.
Great memories of driving Micki's little yellow sports car with Bev and then back to see Micki for tea and laughs.
My condolences to all the family.
