DR. MICKY YU

Dr. Yu was my pediatrician back when he was a very young doctor in the 70s. I have the best memories of visiting him and he saved me when I had a rare blood disorder at age 11 - his quick action and compassion helped me and my family through a very difficult time. I just thought of him, as someone with the same last name came past my desk and wanted to look him up. I was very sad to see about his passing and offer you my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to learn today of Micky's passing. He was my children's pediatrician for years who exemplified a caring , well trsined doctor. Always smiling and friendly. I will miss him.

My family was deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Micky Yu. I was blessed to have found such a warm, compassionate and dedicated doctor for my two daughter's back in the late 80s. They adored Dr.Yu, they...we thought the world of him. I knew my babies were in the best hands. Dr.Yu and Mrs.Yu made us feel like family. Dr.Yu took excellent care of both my daughters, especially when one was born under 2 lbs. Dr. Yu will truly be missed by all the lives he has touched...God bless.

Dr. Yu was my pediatrician growing up back in the 90s. He was probably the only doctor I ever trusted. My mom started having us go to him after he saved my older brother from kidney failure immediately after the other doctor a few minutes before misdiagnosed the symptoms. He literally ran in to my mom in the hall and offered to look at him and discovered the life threatening issue. Dr,Yu ,he was my sons doctor 35 years ago ,,,,i loved him ,,,he was such a wonderful man ,,,,when i couldnt afford to see him ,,,he said next time rest in peace you angel ,,,,,

I worked with Dr Yu on Peds at JFK & he was such a nice person & a very caring physician as well. I'm so very sorry for your loss

he was a great doctor.. he will be missed..

Dr Mickey was a wonderful doctor, my children are grown now with kids of their own but will always remember him fondly.
