Not sure what to say?

Aloha! I will always remember her as my employer and friend and supporter of my music for many years. The last time my duo played at the free Kennedy Center Stage, she was there in the back! Though way in the back in that massive hall, I could see her and I waved and she waved back. Might be the last time I saw her. AND I have her to thank for getting me over my fear of cats and dogs. Her Per and Saba became my friends.

I will so miss Mignon. My partner Herb Seager and I were members of Class Star Syndicate for many years. Although, due to Illness, I had not been able to attend many functions over the last few years. I have so many wonderful memories of the fun times we had at the races, on the sailboat "Catnap", and our week long cruise in the BVI. Herb acted as our Captain that week and sometimes scared Mignon to death. Herb passed in July and I hope they share the peace that passeth all...

I was given the oppurtunity to go to the University of North Alabama in 2006 because of the Smith scholarship. I am so grateful for everything the Foundation and Mignon did for me.

I enjoyed having her stallion, Clavier, in our barn while we showed him. Mignon really enjoyed her horses and sailing. We considered her a true friend, and she will be truly missed.

I am forever grateful for Ms. Mignon Smith and the Smith Foundation. Because of her service, I was able to be selected as one of the first class of Smith Scholars in 2005 and attend college. Her memory lives on through her foundation and the success of its scholars. Rest in peace Ms. Smith.

I am sorry to hear about Ms. Smith. Her legacy will always be remembered and carried on through all the people that she has helped through the years.

What a legacy Ms. Smith leaves behind! I along with many others are saddened by the news but very grateful to have known and been a part of her life through the Smith Scholarship Foundation. I speak for all of us when I say we are forever indebted to Ms. Smith.

She will never be forgotten. Thank God for Mrs. Mignon C. Smith.

I must say that this news has deeply saddened me. Ms. Mignon was a wonderful woman who dedicated her life to helping others. I can honestly say that she has been a blessing me and many of my fellow Smith scholars. Without her help I would not be able to go to college. I am forever thankful for all the things that Ms.Mignon and the foundation has done for me. I will miss her deeply.
